The story of the film is based on the life ‘ s of two aged women who took up shooting as their profession to inspire their daughters and they went on to achieve great success and win many gold medals in shooting , the film is set in Uttar Pradesh in 1998 and was also shot in Bhaghpat and Mawana , Chandro and Prakashi Tomar are the two women on whose life has inspired the filmmaker Tarun Hiranandani to make a film on such a unique topic and with Anuraag Kashyap supporting the film by producing it , the film is making a huge buzz all for right reasons .

Tapsee and Bhumi learned air rifle and shooting for the film and were dressed as a 60 plus old lady in a village to portray the character with more authenticity they spend a good amount of time with actual Chandro and Prakashi Tomar and in their village to know more about character and the surroundings from which they developed their passion in shooting . Tapsee also shared some images on her social media sites of the village where she was staying during the shoots .

The film shooting commenced in febuary with tha cast and crew and was extensively shot in Baghpat , Mawana and Hastinapur , the first part shot in Baghat and crew moved to Mawana and Hastinapur for the second part .

Prakash Jha also joined the cast of Saandh ki Aankh and is portraying an important role in the film with Tapsee and Bhumi and this will surely boost the film as he is a well known actor , director and Producer .
